Currently all my supervisors are away from office at Toa Payoh, mainly for the event tomorrow. I’m left alone with some senior citizens from the finance department. I’m suppose to work in the event too tomorrow and I want to, because my job is to be a Heart Mascot!, sound fucking fun to me. I had never been a mascot before. However, I already paid for Singapore Flyer ticket for tomorrow.

It’s the second week of work, and I sitting in front of the computer again counting down to lunch. Work was relatively boring as I didn’t really do anything. All I did was to edit some poster on CPR and stuffs like that.

Watched NBA AllStars, Dwight Howard AKA Superman won the dunk contest, the big man freshens up the dunk contest with his creativity outfit and an ability to ‘fly’ and dunk from the free throw line. A 2.5m guy managed to jump so high, far, and dunk from that distance with no strings attached. Forget it Jay Chou.

Minnesota’s Gerald Green, last year champion, performed a dunk by jumping over a guy last year also came up with something new. His teammate climbed up and places a cupcake with a single candle in it on the back of the rim. Green soared in and puffed out the flame before throwing down a left-hander. However, he behaved like an arrogant chap and believe he deserve better. When in life you felt that you deserve better for what you’d done? Or realize other people can do equally well for even better than you and not mumble a word?
I don’t play Basketball, but I watch NBA.

On a random notice, my dad told me that Earvin Johnson, also known as ‘Magic!’ Johnson, acknowledged as one of the most popular NBA basketball players of all time, being well-known for his uncanny passing and dribbling skills contracted HIV in his twenties, he slept with 200 girls, mostly his fans.

Hi all, counting down for another 365days?

Basically I got nothing much to talk about except the recent Man Utd's huge win over Newcastle. They got one hand on the trophy, all they need is a little of consistency to move the other five fingers to the next end of the trophy.

I met up with Zhili after school today and went down Queensway shopping to get a new ball, Thanks CN for destroying our new ball last week and thank you for your money for the ball today, better luck this time. Was hooked on my psp's Raw vs Smackdown 2008, nothing beats a long bus ride with a Triple Threat Ladder Match, Foley's good, Haha.

So, where did I go on 5 Oct?

Ended school as usual at 12pm went Wisma Atria's Food Republic for lunch with my poly school mates, it's the first time I celebrate birthday with them and it'll definitely not be the last. Had a cake too. Next, we went pool and had much fun there, a really good time for interacting.

7pm, met Jovee, Wei teck, Shumei and CN for dinner at NYDC Hereen. One of my deadly choice of main course, Parmesan Mushroom, sort of a cheese based spaghetti. After that, we went OBSERVATION LOUNGE located @ Meritus Mandarin's 38th floor. It had a god’s eyed view of half of Orchard Road, very relaxed ambience, cocktails etc. A must try, at least once if you have a tight budget.

Main event of the night, went to RESTROOM, a bar in boat quay, my first time there, bill of 300bucks, why am I telling all this? Argh, I'm moving on to the main attraction, sadly, the main person of the night is not me, and it's CN! …………… why... Guess…………. Drunk? Vomits...Well, ask me in private, I promised him not to blog it out, but then I had videos and photos if you wanna find out more, Ha-ha. Had much fun and we retreaded home at 415am. I'm already 1 day past 18.

Once again, Thank all for your time and money, Thanks LYN for her handmade photo frame with one of my most hated photo inside. No presents can ever beat this, hmm.

I'm back from the states.

Ask me if I enjoy this trip very much, I'll say "80%". The 20% will go to the sucky Chinese food that I ate for 2 days. I didn't go to San Francisco to eat Chinese hotpot, I want their oversize burgers! Luckily for me I get to eat Burger King and Taxi back there, their burgers and fries are twice the size that we see in Singapore and the menu of BK is totally different. American don't take chili and I can't find even find one darn packet of chili in the entire restaurant to go with fries; have to eat it with no taste.

American food = tasteless; unless you like the original taste of potato

I can't stereotype, their pizzas are heavenly.

Pretty nothing much to shop back there as their apparel brand's are mainly Billabong, Quiksliver, Reef, No fear, O'Neill, Fox, Paul Frank, Hurley etc. I pass.

The prices of all those brands are almost the same after adding an 8.5% tax by the government. However there's this one brand "American Apparel" which I saw their white skinny @ USD90++, I was thinking of buying it but there's no time for me to try it on, it was lunch time btw. Bought one Levi black skinny later on instead :]

One of my favorite places is Apple Executive Briefing Centre. Loads of cool stuffs there, I Phone, I TV, I Mac with a more powerful OS, I Pod Touch. Bought my Apple shirt there.

Universal Studio was fun as we get to see special effects, props, blue screen, locations and blah blah blah, Desperate Housewife was shot there as the houses are exactly the same, Spiderman 1, 2 and 3 was done there too, a NY city make up of wood and artificial bricks. Transformers were there too. Evan Almighty's Ark was there and the waves are done specially using blue screen, they housed the biggest blue screen in the world. A Street named after Steven Spielberg, impressive huh?

I think he's filming stuff like being the last man on earth or something.

Stayed home for the past 2 days and doing my Web client module's assignment. Lyn is in Malaysia, Sian arh, today is the last day of GSS and I still haven get all the things I want. A very hectic week for me.

Sunday

I went for CAGE [5-a-side] tournament organized by Lotto. My team name is Gents; I came out with that name on the registration day itself after coming out of the toilet at cage. The guy in charge call me twice to confirm my team name, damn funny ah, because he tot we are called the gentlemen and stuffs. We played 3 games and won 1 draw 2. We are supposed to win the second game and we are off to the Top 8! We drew them, and one of the team which is going to play their last match did not turn up as they already lost twice and the 1st team walkover them. Sportsmen? Did not win enough pts to advance. Hmmm.

Monday

I was having my music and midi class when my classmate approached me and ask me whether that’s me on the U magazine. I took a look and yes! I won the I pod shuffle creative photo design and the prize is 1 brand new I pod shuffle!!! Muhahaha. Actually the 1st thing in mind of winning is not the prize, is happy that my idea was recognized! this is my 1st time winning stuffs like this, I used to think competition like this is fake. Wohoo… Lyn came over to my house for dinner, my mum cooked prawn paste chicken and salmon, haha. Ps, so long nv send lyn home le, lazy ah me!!!! :p

Wednesday

my team no.

Poly 50! For those who dunno, it’s a relay run of each person running 200m at one time and each round is 600m in total and we have to run 50 rounds, consist of 7guys and 3girls. I ran for SMIT today and emerged 56th out of 165+ teams. I was satisfied and happy for our team as none of us went stamina or speed training even once! We ran on the today itself. In addition to that, during the 3rd round, my captain sprained his ankle, we are handicapped! That’s why feeling better at our results. :)
As for the champs, it was the track and field that finishes 50 rounds in less than 1hr16mins which broke the record set by DragonBall [Dragon Boat guys/Netball girls] last yr; 2nd was Sports Club followed by Dragon Boats. These 3 clubs started training last 3mths ago, sent not 1 team but 3 teams to compete; every runner in the team is able to sprint 200m in full speed. Few words. GOOD but SIAO!

I watched Ocean's 13 at Vivo city with Lyn today. It's a good show, do catch it. Checked out Topman's stuffs after the movie, found out that the black cardigan that I had been aiming was moved to the 'Last chance to buy' section and they don't have the design that I wanted. Wah, then went to Marina Square's outlet to check, they have it! And I brought it. Finally. LOL. Ate bbq chicken wings and Kambing soup at Makan Sutra for supper. Their Kambing POWER!

I biked to west coast park ytd nite with hy,ed and cn. We reached there around midnite and slacked in mac till 2am b4 we find somewhere to crash. During the way back, hy punctured a tire and we are stucked in e middle of taban garden. Wtf. gotta find the nearest petrol station to get e wheel back. We pushed our bikes and walked from teban garden to chinese garden's petrol station. e distance is enough to cover me walking from my house to Singapore poly. Damn damn damn FAR! wat pissed everyone off is that the fault lies in e rubber inside the wheel as it burst again when we try to pump it. Gone. took a cab home, slp. e bike with only 1 working wheel is still lying outside my house. F**k but Fun. anyone?

Wishy washy spider is coming back again

I watched Spiderman 3 today with Zhilie and guys. Hmm. I'll not be blogging about the content of that movie as I think most haven’t watched it yet. I'll post just a brief description of it from net.

I'm busy schooling and working nowadays. Choon Ngee and Wee Chong are my Amco colleagues now. However we haven't get to work together yet.

Reasons of buying Amco jeans for myself

-Better quality than those found in Bugis and Fareast and pay around the same price after staff purchase of 40% off. Better quality means around standard of Topman(Topshop). Really? Check out Topshop's jeans. The wash and cuts are the same except the fit. Topshop have skinnys. Alter them yourself. $8

-Urge to customize them because I don't dare to rip or bleach jeans if they are bloody expensive. What if it turns out wrong? Feel better bleaching Amco stuffs as it cost around $29 after discount for some jeans. Compared a Levi's price if bleaching goes wrong. Used different levels of bleaching on same type of jeans. Learnt the art of ripping from my boss. ROfL

-Alteration of length, fit etc
Disliking baggy jeans and wearing skinny doesnt make me a MAT!

How many stupid and useless people have you met in your life? Well… I met one recently. Born with a sliver spoon in his fucking mouth and he don’t cherish it, yet going around blaming this and that. Get a life!

Phew, started working for AMCO jeans wear (IMM concept store) about a week. Things are going fine with many slacking going on. I beat all the part/ full time workers there in Windows 3D pinball with my 6 millions points of high score. Haha. A little history of AMCO, this brand started off with LEVI (yes, the famous jeans brand) years ago and AMCO was considered a more 'high class' brand than LEVI. However when LEVI introduced their rugged and 'dirty' jeans series, AMCO falls behind and stay low until today. Many of uncles and aunties asked me whether AMCO is the same brand in the 80s. YES, it is that old skool brand!

Wah. KH finally ended work in CISCO, its time we finish that Song's family project. With or w/o money. You owe me a drink in your friend’s dad pub dude.

I have an urge to go fishing for prawns! Anyone? Location is in Lakeside and is its 24 hours. There’s a pool/ billiard dome beside that place. Enjoy!

Just came back from swimming and changed my blogskin's colour, now the grey look very boring but nvm ah. I'm supposed to start work in Primemart today as a cashier at 5pm but I'm not going. Simin will take my place as she wanted to work with David, I don't like the job although I got it 1st.

My psp will arrive next few days. A brand new white ver. 1.5 standard pack for S$260. All thanks to my friend's uncle. I'll upgrade it to either ver. 3.03 OEA or the latest 3.10 OEA. OEB ver. is out too. Anybody got iso(s)? Wanna trade?

Boo the ref, boo the Thais!

Thai coach Chanvit Phalajivin look like an idiot thru my binocular. I was there watching live when Mustafic Fahrudin became the hero of that controversial night. However, I felt that the penalty shouldn't be awarded as minimum contact was made between Thai's defender and Noh Alam Shah. I think Khairul Amri's incident look more like a penalty for me; the one where he fell in the box mins before actual penalty. Ouh ya, its Shi Jia Yi's fault, he send that free kick in to Alam Shah. :]

Wear a red lions supporter t-shirt, munch a local curry puff with chili and shout 'PUTO' while walking on Thailand's street on Sunday. You'll receive a warm welcome by the Thais. Perhaps a whole bowl RK's house Tom yam on your head.

i still think the Thais have a better chance of winning. Anyway its asean only, try playing with Japan's Nakamura and Korea's Chu Young Park or even China's Dong Fangzhuo.

The last day of 2006 was a bang! I went shopping for CNY clothes with Choon Ngee and Edmund at Bugis Street and it was damn crowded and it wouldn't be strange if someone bang onto you and the next thing you'll be asking 'did anyone see my wallet?' This applied to Shirlyn once when she lost her Nokia7610 in the crowd. Hahaha, no hard feelings, just want to advise people not to put valuables on the outer pocket of their bag.

We brought 3 shirts and one ago and the shop lady gave us 3 tees for $18 and it was quite a good buy. Cn brought an authentic Liverpool jersey. To hell with Liverpool, I'm getting the Man utd away jersey. Perhaps not so soon. Next, we went to Wisma Atria. We went to Flesh Imp and spend a stunning $250 in total for the 3 of us. For every $100 spent, you'll get a Flesh Imp aviator. We got 2, one for me and other to Ed. I spotted a sweater in Topshop which only left a few pieces left. I brought it at $79. Lazy to put photos here.
We went to food republic and had dinner there. We proceed on to Boon Lay whereby there's a countdown party. Le yao and Felicia Chin sang and we waited backstage just to catch a glimpse of Felicia and took some photos.

It was the last night of 2006 as many flashbacks of the past went thru my mind. As we slowly enter adulthood, will we still be able to be feeling so relaxed with loved one & friends and enjoy life? Slowly the night ended and all the past year memories went up with the magnificent fireworks and fade slowly into the cloudless night. It was a mark of a new beginning. Happy 2007 everyone.

Went to Bugis after school with Choon ngee today and brought a Topshop's wallet and a pair of ripped jeans from bugis street. There's still alot of things that I want. Bugis OG has Levis sale. Although the series is abit old but it is still Levi. Ranged 45-99bucks onli. I need more shirts and t shirts from Topshop Topman. I need to work!

I went to Vivo City for the 4th time this month. Kinda tired of walking around the big mall with no cash to spend. Inter cons for soccer is coming in 2 weeks time, playing as left wing,finally I get to take control of all right side freekicks,muhahaha. Assignments are starting to pour in;audio,video,imaging and storyboarding.Wtf...

Having my Digital Video practical now,assignment 1 for DV is coming and I needa flim a 2-4 mins short clip of any theme. Then I came out with a idea,how abt I flim something like Joga bonito, I just need a Cam-corder and my soccer bros to do some soccer tricks and that will make a clip less then 5 mins. All those filp flap,juggling tricks and Nutmeg moves will be featured in my clip. Haha. Folks, It is a best time to own a psp now, why? Because it's one of the best handheld gaming console in the market right now.

Went to watch Snakes on a Plane[SoaP] on thursday night,not a bad thriller i can say,exciting climate plus a nice Rock&Roll ending music video of snakes on a plane. Relatively funny. Looking forward to Cockroaches in a cockpit. I'm damn afraid of cockroaches,that'll be a horror flick rather than a thriller for me.

Chalet with my poly friends are okay...we went swimming,bbq,gambling and drowning on Vodka and red wine the 1st night. I slept like a log the second night.

To that somebody,don't give excuses if you dun wanna go chalet. Everyone under the sun knows that a person can't take off on the second day of work. You should know yourself that you got chalet and can request to start work later than 31st aug. Damn ya.

Ps,fs and Lyn,too bad u all can't come for the chalet. We had much fun than you think,haha,pool,bbq and waterbombs. I believe u all very much wanted to come,however due to attachments,tests,presentationsand hmmm,nevermind, there's always next time
